Itinerary: -Amarkantak - Kanha National Park Duration: 3N/4D
Day 01: Delhi-Amarkantak
I after breakfast, drive to AmarkantakOn reaching Amarkantak, relax for some time in hotel and later proceed for sightseeing. It is a hill station and pilgrimage town in Madhya Pradesh state near Chattisgarh state border. One of the prominent river of Central India called Narmada River has its origin at Amarkantak.
Day 02: Amarkantak - Kanha National Park (270kms/06:00hrs)
Do half-day sightseeing at Amarkantak. Attend morning arti at main temple. Later in afternoon, drive to Kanha national park. In this day, safari will not be possible so relax at your room and do necessary preparations for morning safari drives.
Overnight stay at resort in Kanha National Park.
Day 03: Kanha National Park
In this day, attend morning & evening jungle safaris, exploring Kanha wildlife attractions. Here park area is widely spread which ensures new areas to visit on each safari drives. Kanha safari zones where safaris are regulated are Kanha, Kisli, Sarhi and Mukki. Among them Kanha zone is declared as premium zone. During safaris, you may also be offered elephant rides to attend "Tiger Show" in which tiger is shown from elephant back for 5-10 minutes duration. This ride is booked on the spot, depending upon successful tiger tracking in zone & route allotted to your vehicle at particular safari drive. It is a magnificent wildlife reserve in Central India with some rare mammal’s species that can only be seen in Kanha national park like hard ground Barasingha also called Swamp Deer. It is a rare deer species. Under consistent rigorous conservation efforts, this species is revived in Kanha forest. Earlier only 70 such deers left in Kanha and were close to extinction. Similarly Indian Gaur, Wild dogs (Dholes), Tigers etc are some of the prominent attractions of Kanha jungle safari.Overnight at resort in Kanha.
Day 04: Kanha National Park – Delhi
After evening jungle safaris, exploring Kanha wildlife attractions. Leave kanha national park and back to the Delhi.
